For their 5th consecutive year, Fake Escape bring the acclaimed immersive '20:20 Vision' experience to Bath Fringe, and this time they turn their attention to our planet's final hours. 4 new plays by 4 writers under 30 will intertwine to tell various stories spanning relationships and continents, all played out in real time as the audience hurtle towards the end of the world...
We are looking for expressions of interest from writers anywhere in the world between the ages of 20 - 30 who would like to be involved in this year's festival. We are looking for short plays between 20 - 25 minutes in length, with no more than 3 characters, that deal with the idea of the world ending. To be clear, we are not interested in 'how' or 'why' the world is ending, but rather how people decide to spend their final 25 minutes on the planet.
Due to an overwhelming response in the last few days from submissions missing the cut-off, we have decided to extend our submission deadline. If you wish to be considered, please submit a brief outline of your idea, and any examples of previous writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday 4th April.
